This course is designed for individuals who are experienced in Forklift operation but haven’t received any formal training and wish to obtain their certification. You might have trained in-house but been left without formal certification or have trained abroad and wish to gain a UK qualification.

Our courses can be tailored to your needs to ensure you receive the necessary training and certification to operate a forklift safely and effectively. Our instructor can travel to you, or courses can be taken in our centres based in Kidderminster and Redditch.

How long does this course last?
Course duration will depend on how many delegates attend the training. Typical durations are as follows:

• One delegate: two days
• Up to three delegates (maximum): three days

Who should take an experienced operator forklift training course?
Personnel who have experience in operating forklifts but have not received formal training and wish to obtain a nationally-recognised certification.

What level of skill is required?

It is expected that candidates will have prior knowledge of operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.

How is this course assessed?

Through practical assessment and a written theory test.

What certification will I receive?
After training has been completed, you will receive a certificate of competency through nationally recognised accrediting body AITT. It is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) that knowledge is updated every three to five years through a refresher course to maintain standards in health & safety and efficiency.
